The BALTIC-FIT team warmly congratulates our project coordinator, Prof. Ulla Tapaninen, on being awarded the Estonian Maritime Academy Medal of Merit — the highest recognition of TalTech Estonian Maritime Academy.
The award was presented during the Academy’s 106th anniversary celebration on 27 October 2025 in Tallinn, honouring Professor Tapaninen’s outstanding contribution to maritime research and international cooperation.
As coordinator of BALTIC-FIT, Prof. Ulla Tapaninen has played a central role in fostering transnational collaboration across the Baltic Sea region and advancing sustainable maritime innovation. We are proud to see her efforts acknowledged by the Academy and grateful for the inspiration she brings to the BALTIC-FIT community.
We also extend our congratulations to TalTech Estonian Maritime Academy on its 106th anniversary and thank the Academy for its continued commitment to excellence in maritime education and research.
