On 20 May 2026, Kristine Carjova from the Maritime Transport Research Group at TalTech visited Riga Port Group / Riga Central Terminal together with the Women in Transport in Latvia Association.
As one of the oldest cargo terminals in Riga, historically linked to coal handling, the terminal today reflects the broader transformation of port operations, including container and passenger-related activities.
