BALTIC-FIT Innovation Workshop #3: Shaping the next collaborative initiatives for Baltic Sea logistics

The third BALTIC-FIT Innovation Workshop, organised by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden, will take place on 4–5 November 2026 in Marstrand, Sweden, bringing together representatives from across the maritime and logistics ecosystem. The workshop will explore how a more coordinated approach can contribute to greener, more connected, resilient and secure logistics in the Baltic Sea region.

Representatives of industry, ports, public authorities, digital service providers, and research and innovation organisations will address shared regional challenges. Discussions will focus on building green and competitive supply chains and strengthening the resilience and security of the logistics system.

The programme will combine keynote contributions and a Baltic Sea Leadership Dialogue with facilitated breakout sessions, giving participants an active role in developing ideas for potential joint initiatives. The first day will focus on identifying key issues and generating ideas, while the second will explore partnerships and next steps.

The ambition is to leave Marstrand with two or three collaborative initiatives, an initial group of organisations behind each of them, and a clear direction for further work. Selected topics may also contribute to the BALTIC-FIT Summer School and VWT Hackathon planned for 2027.

Join us in Marstrand on 4–5 November and take part in the discussion.
